Latvian giants Ventspils FK have parted ways with Ghanaian defender Abdul Rashid Obuobi after four years together, SPORTSworldGhana.com can report.
Obuobi, 25, joined the “Yellow-blues” in the summer of 2016 from Serbian outfit Donji Srem and was their first-choice left-back.
In aLl, Obuobi made 74 appearances for Ventspils scoring two goals and providing two assists in four seasons before deciding to seek for new employers.
SPORTSworldGhana.com understands that Spartak Jurmala are interested in him and could swoop for his services this window.
He previously also featured for Sloga Krajelvo also in Serbia.
