Dutch-defender of Ghanaian parentage Jeremie Frimpong has stated preseason with Celtic on France.
Frimpong, 19, was a revelation in the Hops set up this ended 2019/2020 and he crowned it off with the club’s young player of the year award.
The budding defender put up a fantastic performance on Tuesday night despite his side losing 4-0 to PSG at the Parc de Prince in their first preseason game.
The youngster is expected a key role in manager Neil Lennon’s side next season again after making fourteen Scottish Premiership appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists in his maiden campaign.
Frimpong who joined Celtic from Manchester City last summer has already been linked with a move to Tottenham, Everton and Sheffield United.
