The transfer window for the registration of players and officials, as announced by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), is opened and will close on October 31, 2020.
It is still very early in the transfer market, but Accra Hearts of Oak was already doing business and have announced the signing of young striker Isaac Mensah from Division One outfit, Nkoranza Warriors last month.
Prior to that signing, the club also announced the signing of five players during the previous transfer window when the 2019/2020 season was put on hold when the Covid-19 pandemic broke.
Niger international Abdourahamane Mamane Lawali was signed on a two-year deal; Ivorian winger Eric Dizan has signed a three-year deal with the club as is former Nigeria youth international Danjuma Ademola Kuti whose deal is for two years.
Striker Abednego Tetteh has been signed on a three-year deal with fellow Ghanaian and our former player Nuru Sulley also joining the Phobians on a two-year deal.
A few players have been released by the club having come to the end of their contracts and, they are available on the market; whilst others are set to be offered out on loan to gain more playing time and experience elsewhere.
Joseph Esso, Benjamin Agyare, Christopher Bonney, Abubakar Traore and Bernard Arthur have been released following the end of their respective deals with the club.
The Phobians technical team has recommended that some players be sent out on loan for the coming season to gain more playing time to aid in their development.
