Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko’s pursuit of Sulley Sariki Muniru has come to an end after both parties failed to reach an agreement.
SPORTSworldGhana.com can reveal that Kotoko held talks with Sariki who is the junior brother of ex-Ghana star Sulley Muniru but they could not come to a consensus on the monetary aspect and the deal is now off.
Sariki, 28, is currently a free agent after being released by Russian club FC Tombov this summer.
Considered as the most naturally talented among his siblings, Sariki has played for clubs including CFR Cluj, Steua Bucharesti. Tondela, Yeni and a host of others.
He is ambidextrous and can play anywhere in central midfield with his greatest assets being his passing, dribbles and high work rate.
