Ghanaian Midfielder has landed in Spain with his Sivasspor teammates for their Europa League fixture against Villarreal.
It’s the first time the two teams will be battling in European competition.
Also, this will be the third time the hosts will be playing against a Turkish side in the group stage, having previously faced Trabzonspor in 2003-04 and Osmanlispor in 2016/17.
Cofie, 29, and his colleagues landed in Villareal on Wednesday afternoon with the expectation of recording a decent scoreline in the game on Thursday.
The Ghanaian international has made three appearances for Sivasspor in the Turkish Super Lig this campaign.
