Black Stars attacker Christian Atsu has appealed to the Ghana Football Association to synchronize the various national teams in order to adopt same formation and style of play.
The 29-year-old who recently joined Saudi Arabia side Al Raed says if the country’s football governing is able to do that it will help in the transition of players from the youth level right to the senior team.
“The youth teams in Europe have a system of play as the senior teams. This helps players to know what system they will play as they move to the senior team and they become used to it” Atsu n tole 3 sports.
“The GFA has not implemented this. They must adopt what the Europeans are doing because it is helpful” he added.
The former Newcastle United winger was a member of the Black Stars squad that reached the finals of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
He emerged as the best player of the said tournament despite Ghana losing on penalties to Ivory Coast.
