Ghana captain Andre Ayew has paid a telling tribute to former national team teammate Asamoah Gyan who has retired from professional football.
Ayew showered praises on the all time Ghana top scorer who according to the current Ghana captain served the nation with pride and passion.
Both players played together for more than a decade in the national team and shared so many good memories together during the period.
“A true warrior who served his nation with so much pride and passion. You’re and remain great example to many in this sport.”
“It was an absolute honour to have played 12 years with you in the National team. This beautiful game will miss you on the pitch. I wish you all the best in your retirement, You Are A Legend”, he added.
