Ghanaian midfielder Abu Francis put in a stellar performance for Cercle Brugge in their 1-1 draw against St.Truiden in the Belgian First Division.
Francis played the full 90 minutes and showcased his attacking ability with a crucial assist.
Cercle Brugge began the match strong, controlling early possession, but St.Truiden’s solid defense limited clear-cut chances. In the 53rd minute, Francis unlocked the opposition’s defense with a brilliant assist, setting up Ahoueke Denkey to give Cercle Brugge the lead.
However, St.Truiden responded fiercely, and their efforts were rewarded in the 76th minute when Shinji Okazaki equalized, forcing both sides to share the points.
