Ghanaian referee Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea has been assigned to officiate the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match between Guinea and Egypt.
Assisting him will be Kwasi Acheampong Brobbey as Assistant II, Roland Nii Dodoo Addy as Assistant Referee II, and Charles Benle Bulu as the Fourth Official. Aboulkacem Abdellah from Morocco will serve as the match commissioner.
The match will also have officials from Mali and Morocco, including Mamadou Haidara as a referee assessor, Noureddine Sibaoueih as the medical officer, and Wafae Bekkouch as the coordinator for the pre-match ceremony.
In Group D, Guinea and Egypt are currently tied in second place with nine points each after four games. Egypt leads the group on goal difference, having won three matches and lost one.
Guinea, also with three wins and one loss, follows closely behind. Ethiopia holds the third position with three points, having won one game and lost three, while Malawi sits at the bottom with three points after four games.
