The Black Stars have received a significant boost with the arrival of seven additional players ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
The team began preparations on Monday at the Accra Sports Stadium, where only ten of the 23 invited players initially took part in training. Those present included Thomas Partey, Tariq Lamptey, Joseph Wollacott, Ibrahim Osman, Jonas Adjetey, Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Frederick Asare, Ebenezer Annan, and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.
The recent arrival of Inaki Williams, Majeed Ashimeru, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Alidu Seidu, Jerome Opoku, Kingsley Schindler, and Abdul Mumin has further strengthened the squad as they gear up for these crucial qualifiers.
The remaining players are expected to join the team before they head to Kumasi to face Angola on September 5 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Following this match, the team will travel to Niger for their first away game of the qualifiers.
Under the guidance of head coach Otto Addo, the Black Stars are determined to secure their place in the upcoming AFCON tournament and are counting on the unwavering support of their fans as they embark on this vital campaign.
