A historic Bayern Munich storekeeper has been fired after a remark deemed racist during a visit to the training center, reports Bild.

“People like these, avoid bringing them home…” This is the remark that a Bayern Munich storekeeper would have launched to his daughter during a visit to the Bayern Munich training center.

This statement referred to two players from the first team, in this case the Cameroonian Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting as well as Serge Gnabry.

Several other people belonging to the Bavarian club also heard this remark and did not fail to report the information. According to Bild, the leaders of Bayern immediately decided and decided to fire the author of this remark deemed racist. The information has not been confirmed by the German club.

This is not the first time that the club has faced this kind of problem. Indeed, in August 2020, a youth team coach was fired following several accusations of racist remarks. The affair was then revealed by the German media and Bayern reacted all the more because it is very concerned and mobilized against racism and all forms of discrimination.
