The Durres Prosecutor’s Office in Albania has stormed the offices of Egnatia FC to seize medical records of Raphael Dwamena following his death on the pitch on Saturday.
Club doctors and other senior club staff have also been interrogated as state investigations start into the cause of the death of the Ghanaian footballer.
The report of a forensic expert will expected to be added to the file before the next line of action will be taken by prosecutors.
The 28 year old had previous heart condition years ago but he refused to hang up his boots as he wanted to continue doing what he loved the most, playing football.
He was without a doubt one of the best players in the Albanian Superliga and he was the league’s top scorer with 9 goals this season.
He scored nine goals in 10 outings this season in the Albania top-flight before his demise.
