Former Ghana international, Charles Taylor has said that Black Stars captain, Andre Dede Ayew should be part of the team with or without club football action.
Charles Taylor also advocated for the return of Mubarak Wakaso as he firmly believes that the current players are not better than these two experience figures who will be needed for the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The comments of Charles Taylor come on the back of Ghana’s abysmal performance in the two international friendly games against Mexico and the United States of America.
“Andre Ayew should always be part of the Black Stars whether he has club or not and we need Mubarak Wakaso back in the team urgently,” he said.
Andre Dede Ayew is yet to find a club after the expiration of his one-year contract with English Premier League side Nottingham Forest.
Mubarak Wakaso on the other hand is playing in the Belgian Pro League fpr K.A.S. Eupen
