Former Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan has praised Nigeria’s Victor Moses for his passion and dedication to the Super Eagles. Osimhen was everywhere on the pitch for the Super Eagles in their beautiful 2-0 win over Cameroon.

The Napoli striker impressed Asamoah Gyan which earned him praise. The ex-Ghana captain on his X wall wrote, “Osimhen plays with passion. That is what every country wants their players to do”.

Victor Osimhen assisted Ademola Lookman’s opener against the Indomitable Lions with a wonderful display of balance before setting up the Atalanta forward to give Nigeria a deserved 1-0 win. Osimhen’s celebration in Nigeria’s first goal rubberstamps what Baby Jet Asamoah Gyan wrote.

Osimhen has been a real threat to defenders in the AFCON and was as dangerous as ever against Christopher Wooh and Jean Castelletto in Cameroon’s defence.

The African footballer of the year has scored just once in the ongoing AFCON but he has been a constant menace to the opposition defence as he has fought hard which has helped the likes of Lookman, Simon, Sanusi and Aina get involved in the game.

Jose Peseiro’s Nigeria won 2-0 over Cameroon and will play against Angola in the quarter-finals.
