Amidst Asante Kotoko’s expressed interest in acquiring Antwi’s services, Coach Zito remains steadfast in redirecting Dreams FC’s immediate focus towards their ongoing African campaign. Zito affirms that any discussions concerning a potential move to Kotoko will be entertained post-season, and the ultimate decision will hinge upon the player’s preference.
Confirming Kotoko’s inquiry, Zito shared insights during an interview with West Gold Radio, stating, “Asante Kotoko have asked for the services of our striker John Antwi, but for now, our focus is on the Africa campaign. We will discuss a move with Kotoko after the season. Everything will depend on the player.”
John Antwi, who last donned the Black Stars jersey in 2020, harbors aspirations of clinching a spot in the final squad for the impending AFCON tournament, slated to be hosted in Ivory Coast next month.
