Asante Kotoko legends beat Great Olympics legends in an exhibition match at Baba Yara Stadium

In a thrilling exhibition match at the Baba Yara Stadium, the Asante Kotoko Legends clashed with the Great Olympics Legends, bringing back memories of classic Ghana Premier League encounters.

The Kotoko Legends emerged victorious with a 2-1 scoreline. Michael Ofosu Appiah opened the scoring early on, and Joe Sam added the second goal before halftime.

In the second half, the Kotoko Legends continued to dominate, but the Olympics Legends managed to pull one back through Emmanuel Sackey.

The Kotoko Legends lineup featured stars like Opoku Nti, Oli Rahman, Godwin Ablodey, Francis Akwaffo, Joe Louis, Gabriel Opoku Ware, Joe Sam, Eric Nii Baah, Michael Ofosu Appiah (CID), and more.

On the other side, the Olympics Legends were represented by notable players like Godwin Attram, Dan Quaye, Nii Noi, and others.

Kotoko Legends Starting Lineup: Eric Nii Baah (GK), Michael Ofosu Appiah (CID), Yaw Owusu, Bobbie Ansah, Joe Sam, Godwin Ablordey, Oli Rahman, Gabriel Opoku Ware, Aboagye Dacosta, Opoku Nti, Francis Akwaffo.

Substitutes: Ahmed Rockson, Karim Zito, Rev Osei Kofi, Wilberforce Mfum.

Olympics Legends Starting Lineup: Theo Mensah (GK), James Tetteh, Charles Duah, Nii Afo Dodoo, Dan Quaye, Ayittey Dormon, Godwin Dwomoh, Eddie Sosu, Alhaji Issah, Kwasi Bonsu Jnr, Akwei Polo.

Substitutes: Akwetey David, Felix Abbey, Enock Odoom, Marvin Adama, Nii Dodoo Ankrah, Emmanuel Sackey Jnr, Mawuli, Godwin Attram.
