Bechem United recorded a narrow win over Accra Lions on Sunday during Week 21 of the Ghana Premier League as Emmanuel Annor scored the only goal of the game.
Annor – one of the most important players of the Hunters this season – provided his team the much needed breakthrough in the 68th minute as Accra Lions were resolute and hard to be breached.
It was another home clean sheet for Bechem United goalkeeper Iddrisu Abdulai who is yet to conceded a home goal this season – the only keeper to do so in the league this season.
The win takes Bechem United to 37 points after 21 games – seven points adrift leaders Asante Kotoko who do not play until Monday at Eleven Wonders in Techiman.
