Bechem United have been charged with violating Section 38(8)(a) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2019. The charge comes after their recent match against Hearts of Oak.
A statement from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirmed the charge, saying, “Bechem United have been charged with a breach of Section 38(8)(a) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2019, following their Ghana Premier League match against Hearts of Oak.”
The violation is connected to the club’s failure to present their coach for the required post-match press conference. “It is alleged that the club failed to present its coach for the mandatory post-match press conference after the said game,” the GFA explained.
Bechem United now has until Wednesday, 25th September 2024, to respond to the charges. The club is expected to either explain the situation or face potential penalties from the league.
