Benjamin Tetteh played a key role in Maribor’s dominant 4-0 victory over Radomlje in their Slovenian top-flight encounter on Saturday.
The Ghanaian forward scored and provided an assist as his side secured all three points in their round 23 fixture.
Maribor took the lead in the 20th minute when Tetteh set up Niko Grlić for the opening goal. After the break, Tetteh found the back of the net in the 55th minute, this time benefiting from an assist by Grlić to double the advantage.
Pijus Sirvys extended the lead in the 64th minute before Ali Reghba put the result beyond doubt with a goal in the 74th minute, capping off a commanding performance.
With this win, Maribor strengthens its grip on second place in the league standings, reaching 45 points.
Tetteh has been in excellent form this season, scoring six goals and providing two assists in just 10 appearances for the club.
