Tekpetey’s impact was evident as he set up Caio Vidal for the opening goal just 11 minutes into the game on Wednesday afternoon. The home side secured a one-goal advantage going into halftime, setting the stage for a commanding second-half performance.
Lokomotiv Plovdiv faced further adversity when Jorge Segura received his second yellow card in the 57th minute, reducing them to 10 men. Ludogorets Razgrad capitalized on the numerical advantage, extending their lead with goals from Rick in the 75th minute, Rwan Cruz in the 85th minute (assisted by Kwadwo Duah), and Mathias Tissera in the second minute of additional time.
