Black Stars midfielder Iddrisu Baba Mohammed has shared his thoughts on the psychological impact of Almería’s challenging situation in La Liga.
The team is currently at the bottom of the league with only four points after 15 games, and this has led Iddrisu to limit his outdoor activities. He expressed his longing for the support of the fans during these difficult times.
Reflecting on the emotional toll of the team’s performance, Iddrisu said, “I want the fans to love me, and I’m doing everything possible. I haven’t left the house for a long time. I’m always stuck at home and don’t go out much. In this situation, it’s very difficult to go out on the street. All this hurts a lot,” he told the club’s media.
Almería’s next match is against Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano Stadium on Sunday. Baba, who joined from Real Mallorca on loan, is expected to play a key role for the visitors.
Unfortunately, Almería was knocked out of the Copa del Rey after losing 1-0 to lower-tier side Barbastro on Wednesday night, with Baba Iddrisu playing the full match.
