Ghanaian defender Bridget Adu has completed her transfer to English club Luton Town Ladies FC, following an impressive season in the Egyptian league with TUT FC, where she secured a domestic double.
The 25-year-old Black Queens centre-back officially joined her new teammates last week and expressed her excitement about the move, promising to contribute to the club’s success.
“I am thrilled to have signed with Luton Town Football Club and excited to be a part of this amazing team,” Adu said. “I’m looking forward to working with the coach, staff, and my new teammates to achieve great things. I’m eager to use my skills and experience to help the team and make the fans proud.”
She added, “It’s an honor to wear the Luton FC jersey, and I’m excited for this new chapter in my career.”
Adu’s career has seen her play for clubs across Europe, including Atasehir Beldeyispor in Turkey and Thonon Evian Grand in France, before her recent success in Egypt. She now looks forward to bringing her experience to the English side.
