Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori celebrated victory as Orlando Pirates won the South African MTN8.
In a thrilling final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, Pirates triumphed over Mamelodi Sundowns in a penalty shootout after the match had ended goalless after 120 minutes of intense football.
Orlando Pirates’ goalkeeper Sipho Chaine was the hero of the shootout, saving three penalties to secure victory for his team.

This victory marked the 12th time that the Buccaneers had clinched the coveted MTN8 trophy.
Although Richard Ofori did not feature in the game, he was named in Ghana’s squad for the upcoming friendly matches against the United States of America and Mexico.
