Black Stars new boy Yakubu Mohammed was in action for Azam FC as they picked a vital 1-0 away win against Tanzania Prisons on Saturday in the Tanzanian top-flight league.
The 24-year old versatile defender was on Friday named in Coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor,s 23-man squad for the Black Stars international friendly against Mali which will be played in Turkey on 9th October 2020.
The former Tema Youth and Aduana Stars player, lasted the entire duration of the game with some superlative display in the heart of defense.
He has far featured in all opening four games of the new season and hopes to enjoy more playing time especially now that he has been handed a national team call-up by Ghana.
