Young forward Ephraim Yeboah delivered a dramatic late performance to inspire Bristol City U21 to a thrilling 2–1 comeback victory over Charlton Athletic U21 in the Professional Development League.
The 19-year-old centre-forward emerged as the hero of the match after scoring two late goals in the 79th and 88th minutes, turning the game on its head after Charlton’s U21 side had taken the lead earlier in the second half.
Charlton looked to be in control of the contest when they found the breakthrough in the 70th minute, putting themselves ahead and appearing on course to secure all three points. However, the momentum of the match shifted dramatically as Bristol City pushed forward in search of an equaliser.
