FC Barcelona are set to strengthen their youth ranks with a late move to sign Ghanaian youngster David Oduro from Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions FC, According Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
If signed Oduro, Oduro will become the first player ever to sign for Barça directly from Ghana to join the Spanish giants.
Oduro, born in 2006, had a trial at Barcelona earlier this year and the club have been working to get his signing across the line for a while.
Oduro, 18, has been likened to Bayern Munich speedster Alphonso Davies in some circles and was already a starter for his club at the age of 17.
In fact, he has already made 50 senior appearances for Accra Lions, even scoring a goal and assisting six more.
The young left-back also had trials at Chelsea earlier in the year but is now headed to Barcelona.
