Felix Kyei, the goalkeeper for Medeama SC, expressed his determination, stating that he and his teammates are ready to give their best to secure a victory against Young Africans.
The upcoming game carries significant importance for both teams, with Medeama having the opportunity to position themselves favorably for qualification with a win, while Young Africans are striving for their first victory in the group stage.
Medeama currently holds the third position on the group table with three points, secured through a win and a defeat. On the other side, Young Africans find themselves at the bottom of the group with just one point.
Addressing the topic of keeping a clean sheet, Kyei highlighted the challenges faced by goalkeepers and acknowledged the desire to achieve clean sheets in every game. However, he emphasized that the outcome of the game sometimes depends on unforeseen factors.
“As a goalkeeper, you need to keep a clean sheet. Each and every game, I want to keep a clean sheet, but the game decides sometimes. In some instances, we’re unable to keep a clean sheet due to one or two mistakes. Tomorrow, I am not promising a clean sheet, but we are going to give our best to take the three maximum points,” Kyei explained.
