CAF Champions League Money Zone:  Hearts of Oak ranked 19th as team with  most wins

Ghanaian club Accra Hearts of Oak is the 19th-best team in terms of wins recorded in the Money Zone (group stage) of the CAF Champions League since its inception in 1997 with 9 wins.

Esperance of Tunis is the team that has recorded the most wins (65) since 1997 in the group stage of the competition. Al Ahly of Cairo is second with 59 wins with TP Mazbe’s 37 wins the third best. Mamelodi Sundowns have recorded 36 wins as they are placed 4th. Wydad is 5th with 32 wins.

Asec Mimosas is the team from West Africa to have recorded the most wins in the group stage of the CAF Champions League. Enyimba (18),  Horoya (10),  Hearts of Oak (9) and Africa Sports and Jeanne d’Arc both with (5o complete the WAFU list.
