Kwasi Donsu, the captain of Medeama SC, has expressed confidence and readiness ahead of their clash against Remo Stars of Nigeria in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

Following the draw on Tuesday, which pitted the Ghanaian club against the Nigerian outfit in the qualifiers for the group stage of the prestigious CAF inter-club competition, Donsu emphasized that the Yellow and Mauve outfit does not fear their opponents.

In an interview with Kessben TV, the experienced midfielder assured that Medeama SC will put in the hard work to prepare for the two-legged encounter. He shared the team’s determination to do everything possible to eliminate Remo Stars FC of Nigeria and progress to the next stage.

“Finally, we have known the opponents we are going to face in the CAF champions league. In Football, if you want to be a champion you don’t have to fear your opponents.

Donsu emphasized the team’s championship mentality, stating that in football, champions do not fear their opponents. Instead, they focus on working diligently to overcome challenges and secure victory.

“The most important thing is that we are going to work hard and sail through to the next stage,” Kwasi Donsu shared.

Medeama SC, as the Champions of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season, is representing Ghana in Africa and is determined to advance to the Group stage of the upcoming CAF Champions League. With their captain’s confidence and determination, the team aims to make a strong statement in the continental competition.
