Solomon Agbesi and Emmanuel Agyei, two promising players from Dreams FC, have received well-deserved recognition for their outstanding performances in the CAF Confederation Cup. Both players have been named in the coveted team of the week, a testament to their contributions on the field.

In a thrilling match against Stade Malien, played in Kumasi, Agbesi and Agyei showcased their talent and determination. Despite facing tough opposition, Dreams FC managed to secure a comeback draw, thanks in no small part to the efforts of these two players.

Agbesi, serving as the team’s goalkeeper, proved to be a formidable presence between the posts. His quick reflexes and decisive saves played a crucial role in keeping Dreams FC in the game, ensuring that they had a fighting chance until the final whistle.

Meanwhile, Agyei’s performance in midfield was nothing short of exceptional. His tireless work rate and ability to dictate play were instrumental in the team’s fightback against Stade Malien. Agyei’s presence on the field provided stability and creativity, allowing Dreams FC to mount attacks and maintain pressure on their opponents.

The duo’s stellar performances did not go unnoticed, as they were duly rewarded with a place in the CAF Confederation Cup team of the week. This recognition serves as a testament to their talent and dedication, highlighting their importance to the Dreams FC squad.

With their place secured in the semifinals of the competition, Dreams FC now turn their attention to the formidable challenge posed by Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek. The upcoming fixtures against Zamalek will test the mettle of Agbesi, Agyei, and the rest of the team as they strive to advance to the final stage of the tournament.

The first leg of the semifinal tie is scheduled to take place on April 21, 2024, in Egypt, with the return leg set for Kumasi on April 28, 2024. Dreams FC will be counting on their star duo to maintain their impressive form and lead the team to victory against Zamalek.
