Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi has joined his FC Nordsjaelland teammates in Austria for the club’s ongoing pre-season preparations ahead of the new football season.
The talented youngster was not part of the initial group that travelled to the European training camp, sparking attention among supporters and raising questions about his absence from the squad. However, the club has now welcomed him into camp as preparations intensify.
Yirenkyi’s arrival means the Ghana international will now participate fully in the team’s training sessions as head coach and technical staff continue to assess players ahead of the upcoming campaign.
The midfielder has become an important figure for FC Nordsjaelland following his rapid rise through the club’s system. After developing at the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, Yirenkyi progressed into the Danish side’s first-team setup, where he has impressed with his composure, technical ability and maturity despite his young age.
His performances in Denmark have also attracted interest from several European clubs, with his development closely monitored due to his potential and ability to influence games from midfield.
The Austria camp forms part of FC Nordsjaelland’s preparations as the club works on fitness, tactical adjustments and team cohesion before competitive action resumes.
For Yirenkyi, joining the squad at this stage provides an opportunity to continue building his relationship with teammates and prove his readiness for another important season with the Danish club.
The Ghanaian midfielder will now look to make a strong impression during the remaining pre-season activities as he aims to secure a key role in the team ahead of the new campaign.
