Ghanaian winger Callum Hudson-Odoi found the back of the net as Nottingham Forest earned a solid victory over West Ham United in the English Premier League.
The former Chelsea star played a key role in Forest’s impressive 3-0 win over the Hammers on Saturday, helping the team secure three valuable points.
Nottingham Forest’s opener came in the 27th minute when “in-form attacker Christopher Grant Wood” was set up by Spain international Álex Moreno, giving the home side an early lead.
West Ham’s troubles deepened just before halftime as “Mexican international Edson Álvarez received the marching orders,” leaving the Hammers with ten men and disrupting their game plan.
Hudson-Odoi stepped up in the 65th minute, “doubling the advantage for the home team” with a goal assisted by Elliot Anderson. Nigeria international Ola Aina rounded off the scoring in the 78th minute, sealing a convincing win for Nottingham Forest.
The English-Ghanaian winger has shown his value this season, scoring twice in nine league appearances.
Hudson-Odoi was also the hero in September when Nottingham Forest made headlines by defeating Liverpool at Anfield—their first win there in over 55 years.
