The head of the legal department of the Cameroon Football Federation – Blaise Djounang- has been appointed as acting secretary general of the football governing body.
Blaise succeeds Benjamin Didier Banlock on an interim basis.
The news of the appointment of an interim secretary general of FECAFOOT fell on Tuesday evening.
It was after a meeting of the body’s Emergency Committee. A decision taken “due to the resignation of Mr. Banlock Benjamin Didier Banlock on May 18, 2022” and “taking into account the imperatives linked to the continuity of service”, explained the president of Fécafoot Samuel Eto’o.
