Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman has emerged as a reported transfer target for Championship side Portsmouth, with speculation linking the Brighton & Hove Albion attacker with a possible move away from the Premier League club.
The 21-year-old left winger is the subject of a transfer rumour involving a potential switch between the two English clubs ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Osman remains under contract with Brighton until June 30, 2029, meaning any possible move would require an agreement between both clubs. His current market value is estimated at €7 million, although no transfer fee has been reported in connection with the rumour.
The Ghana international joined Brighton as one of Europe’s promising young attacking talents and has been developing his game in England, with his pace, direct running and ability to operate in one-on-one situations among his key strengths.
A move to Portsmouth would see Osman drop from the Premier League to the Championship, potentially offering him more regular first-team opportunities and increased playing time.
However, with three years remaining on his Brighton contract, the Premier League club would have a strong negotiating position should Portsmouth decide to make a formal approach.
