Former Hearts of Oak player, Mohammed Polo has told the club to try as much as they can to keep Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.
Barnieh has been a key player for the Phobians in the last two campaigns, scoring important goals. He was part of the team that won the 2020/21 betPawa Premier League title and two MTN FA Cup trophies.
He scored a beautiful goal against Bechem in the FA Cup final earlier this year.

But there have been rumors of a breakdown in contract extension talks with the player considering a move abroad.
Speaking to OTEC FM, Polo highlighted the club’s need to keep the former Black Satellites captain at the club for at least one more year.
“Afriyie Barnieh is one of the brightest spots in Hearts of Oak. The management should convince him to stay once they know he is somebody who can help the team,” he stated.
“They should make him feel comfortable and stay for at least one more season,” Polo added.
Barnieh is currently with the Black Galaxies in Austria as they prepare for a CHAN tournament clash against Nigeria.
