Following Jordan Ayew’s impressive performance in Crystal Palace’s recent win over Leeds United, interim manager Roy Hodgson has praised the Ghanaian striker.
Ayew scored twice and put on a stunning display during the Premier League game at Elland Road, helping his team secure three points. Hodgson expressed his admiration for Ayew’s work rate and contributions to the game during a post-match interview.
He singled out Ayew as the top performer of the match, stating that his efforts were crucial to the team’s success.
“If I had to single somebody out that doesn’t get a lot of praise it would be Jordan Ayew.
“Not only his two goals, but his enormous work rate helped us enormously in the game and that set a bit of a marker,” Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson said.
With three goals already this season, Ayew is proving to be a valuable asset to the Palace team.
