After just one season, Crystal Palace has decided to part ways with Ghanaian defender Addae Joshua Kwesi.
The 19-year-old joined Palace in January 2022 from Langley F.C. and showcased his talent as he progressed through their academy system up to the second team.
However, with his professional contract set to expire this month, Addae has been informed that it will not be renewed by the club.
Although Addae has the versatility to play as a lateral defender on both the right and left sides, he only managed to make one appearance for Crystal Palace’s senior team last season.
Addae is known for his modern-day right-back qualities, possessing solid defensive skills as well as the ability to contribute in attack. Additionally, he has experience playing as a wing-back.
As Addae embarks on the next phase of his football journey, he will be seeking new opportunities to further develop and showcase his potential.
