Ghanaian striker Daniel Agyei played a pivotal role in Leyton Orient’s impressive 3-0 win over Blackpool in their League One match at the Gaughan Group Stadium. Agyei’s creativity led to two crucial assists, helping his team secure a comfortable victory.
The action began in the 34th minute when Agyei delivered a precise cross to Sonny Perkins, who skillfully directed the ball into the bottom right corner, putting Leyton Orient ahead. In the 72nd minute, Agyei sparked another attack with a quick break, setting up Charlie Kelman, who finished with a powerful right-footed strike into the top of the net.
Just minutes later, Tom James added the third goal, firing a low shot that cemented Leyton Orient’s lead and ensured all three points. Although Blackpool controlled much of the possession, Leyton Orient’s efficiency in front of goal, led by Agyei’s impactful performance, made the difference.
With three assists this season across 14 appearances, Agyei’s influence continues to grow. Leyton Orient now looks forward to building on this win in their upcoming EFL Trophy game against Milton Keynes Dons on November 12.
