Black Stars assistant coach, Desmond Offei, has commended the team’s dedication following their impressive victories in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
Expressing his appreciation, Offei acknowledged the hard work of both the players and staff, as well as the unwavering support from Ghanaians.
“Massive commitment from players and staff on and off the pitch! Thank you, Ghana, for the support and love!” he shared on Instagram.
Black Stars Dominate Group I
Ghana secured a commanding 5-0 win over Chad on March 21, 2025, followed by a 3-0 victory against Madagascar in Morocco on Monday. These results have strengthened the Black Stars’ position at the top of Group I, bringing them one step closer to World Cup qualification.
Offei Balancing Two Coaching Roles
Beyond his duties with the Black Stars, Offei also serves as the head coach of Ghana’s U20 team, the Black Satellites, skillfully balancing both responsibilities as he contributes to the nation’s football success.
