Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively report that Nketiah recently had a phone call conversation with Ghana manager Otto Addo where the London-based player confirm his readiness to be in the Black Stars squad once invited by the Ghana technical team.
Nketiah, 22, never made the step up to senior soccer for England though, unlike Hudson-Odoi.
The player who is on the radar of Crystal Palace Dortmund and West Ham United, was born and raised in London, but has family roots in Ghana.
His decision may well have been influenced by Ghana successfully qualifying for the Qatar World Cup, which begins in November.
Ghana booked its World Cup spot by beating Nigeria on the away goals rule in a two-legged playoff in March.
