Ghana striker Emmanuel Boateng, is happy after scoring his first league goal of this season for Levante in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday.
The Ghanaian international came off the bench to secure a point for his side in their 2-2 draw with SD Huesca at the Estadio El Alcoraz.
SD Huesca, opened the scoring in the 23rd minute through Christian Rivera before Levante responded on the stroke of time when Marti Roger drew them level with an excellent finish.
Huesca, however, restored their lead in the 51st minute when Xabier Etxeita peeled off his marker to head home to make it 2-1.
But Coach Paco Lopez introduced Boateng into the in the 70th minute of the game as he found target to salvage a point for Levante who were on the verge of losing all three points in the crucial game.
The goal was Boateng’s first in 10 matches for Levante UD since the start of the season.
