Italian-born Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Gyasi has been named Man of the Match for the second consecutive game after his impressive performance in Empoli’s 1-1 away draw against Bologna on matchday three of the Italian Serie A.
The match started with a bang as Bologna took an early lead just two minutes in, courtesy of Giovanni Fabian. However, Empoli responded immediately, with Gyasi finding the back of the net just a minute later to secure a crucial equalizer at the Estadio Renato Dall’Ara.
Gyasi, who has kicked off the season in sensational form, has now scored in two consecutive Serie A matches. His consistency and influence on the pitch were evident as he played the full 90 minutes and earned the Man of the Match accolade once again, following his standout performance against AS Roma last week.
Empoli will face a tough challenge in their next fixture as they host Juventus at the Estadio Carlo Castellani after the international break. Gyasi will be looking to continue his goal-scoring streak and lead his team to another positive result.
