Newly appointed Interim Technical Committee member for Ghana Premier League giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, Kwasi Appiah has stated why everyone expects the club to always win trophies.
According to him, everyone expects the Porcupine Warriors to win every trophy because it is a big club.
Kotoko is a big team that everyone expects us to win trophies but the intention of the coach is to give the coach an opportunity to build a strong team”, he told Luv FM.
“We will plead with the supporters to bear with us and not put pressure on the team”, he added.
The club recently appointed Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum as head coach going into the 2023-24 season and the former head coach has asked the supporters to be patient.
Kotoko failed to win a single trophy during the 2022-23 season a year after Ogum had ended their eight-year wait for silverware before leaving the club.
