Former Hearts of Oak captain, Yaw Amankwah Mireku, has commended Asante Kotoko coach Dr Prosper Ogum for his instant positive impact at the club ahead of the Super Clash.
According to the 2001 CAF Champions League winner, the UCC lecturer deserves credit for how quick he has transformed the Kumasi-based club..
The former WAFA coach was appointed as Kotoko head coach, replacing Portuguese trainer Mariano Barreto, and has led the the club to finish summit of the table after the first round.
Ahead of Hearts of Oak’s match against Kotoko on Sunday, Amankwah Mireku insists Dr Ogum’s has done a great job with the Kumasi-based outfit.
”Seriously it is not easy to build a team within this short time and play so well like that. I think the Kotoko coach Dr. Prosper Narteh has done a good job so far for the club,” said Amankwah Mireku on Oyerepa FM.
Hearts will welcome Asante Kotoko to the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, February 20, 2022.
