German born Ghanaian central defender Patric Pfeiffer has signed a fresh deal with Bubdesliga 2 outfit SV Darmstadt 98.
Pfeiffer’s initial contract with the “Lillies” was expected to end this coming somewhere but he appended his signature to a new two-year deal on Thursday night which will now see him stay at the Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor until June 30, 2023.
The 21-year-old centre back who stands at a giant frame of 1.96 metres is considered a huge prospect in Germany and he has already featured for the German Under 19 team.
Pfeiffer was signed by Darmstadt from Hamburg in the summer of 2019 and has risen to become one of the key players at the back for the second-tier club.
He has played 13 league games so far for Darmstadt as they sit 12th on the league log with 22 points.
