Italian Serie A team S.S Lazio has set their sights on Ghanaian defender Alexander Djiku, as they make a substantial offer to Fenerbahce for his services.
Reports from Sky Italia indicate that Lazio is prepared to offer €10 million to persuade Fenerbahce to part ways with the talented Ghanaian player.
Djiku made his move to Fenerbahçe at the start of the previous season on a three-year contract with the possibility of extending for another year, coming from Strasbourg on a free transfer.
With an exceptional performance throughout the season, Djiku has captured the interest of Lazio, who are keen on bringing him to the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Lazio may have competition from Sevilla and Napoli for Djiku’s signature, as all three clubs vie for the services of the accomplished Black Stars center-back.
In the past season, Djiku showcased his skills in 36 matches, spending a total of 2841 minutes on the field and contributing significantly with 3 goals and 2 assists to his name.
