Ghanaian forward Ezekiel Alladoh continued his impressive start in Sweden, finding the net for the second time this season in IF Brommapojkarna’s thrilling 3-2 victory over IFK Varnamo in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Sunday.
The former Accra Lions striker played a crucial role at Grimsta IP, helping the “Bromma boys” secure a much-needed win in front of their home crowd.
Brommapojkarna opened the scoring in the 27th minute through Alex Timossi Andersson, capitalizing on sustained pressure against the struggling visitors.
Early in the second half, Alladoh extended the lead. After threatening the Varnamo goal earlier, the Ghanaian forward finally got his reward with a precise left-footed strike, finishing off a fluid team move just five minutes after the break.
Varnamo, still searching for form this season, mounted a strong comeback. Ghanaian midfielder Frank Junior Adjei halved the deficit with a powerful effort from outside the box before Simon Thern curled in a superb free-kick in the 83rd minute to level the game at 2-2.
However, just when it looked like the visitors would snatch a point, Danish defender Kaare Barslund struck late in stoppage time to seal all three points for Brommapojkarna.
With two goals in his first four appearances, Alladoh is quickly proving to be an important figure in Brommapojkarna’s frontline, continuing to make his mark and raising the profile of Ghanaian talents abroad.
