FC Samartex head coach Nurudeen Amadu has urged fans to continue their support as the team aims for greater success in the 2024/25 football season. Under his guidance, Samartex clinched the Ghana Premier League title for the first time last season.
Ahead of the Nsenkyire Cup tournament, Coach Amadu discussed the team’s objectives, emphasizing that the primary goal is to use the tournament for preparation. “This tournament is about points build-up and, at the same time, what is important is for you to get to know the players and their performance level. If we are able to win the cup, that’s fine, but we are looking more at the preparations to help us in the game against Victoria FC,” he said.
He also encouraged fans to maintain their support, promising improved performance next season. “The fans should keep supporting the team. We will push to do more than we did next season. We will try our best to always make the fans happy,” Coach Amadu added.
In their opening match of the 2024 Nsenkyire Cup, FC Samartex defeated Nsoatreman FC 4-0.
