Kofi Mensah, the talented Ghanaian goalkeeper, is on the verge of securing a lucrative deal with an undisclosed club in Spain.
After a slow start to his season at Medeama, Mensah made a move to Ethiopian club Legetafo Legedadi FC.
During his time in Ghana, the 25-year-old played a crucial role in helping his former club, Ashgold, reach the final of the 2021-22 MTN FA Cup, where they unfortunately lost in a penalty shootout against Accra Hearts of Oak.
Having previously played for Tema Youth, Ebusua Dwarfs, Ashgold, and Medeama SC, Kofi Mensah showcased his abilities by keeping 13 clean sheets and conceding 36 goals in 41 games.
He joined Legetafo Legedadi FC on a contract that extends until the end of the season.
However, sources have informed Sportsworldghana that, the highly-regarded former Ashantigold goalkeeper has attracted the attention of a second division club in Spain.
It is highly likely that Mensah will sign a two-year deal with the Spanish club ahead of the upcoming 2023-24 football season.
