Former Black Galaxies head coach Annor Walker has expressed confidence in Ghana’s ability to defeat Nigeria in the first leg of the 2024 CHAN Qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Walker, who guided the Black Galaxies to a victory over Nigeria in the 2022 CHAN playoffs, believes that current coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani will replicate that success.
“What they are doing at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence shows they are well-prepared and capable of winning at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday,” Walker told Asempa FM.
“I know Didi Dramani will win the first leg before they go to Nigeria for the reverse fixture,” he added.
The Black Galaxies are set to face the home-based Super Eagles in Accra, with the return leg scheduled for Nigeria a week later.
The winner of the tie will secure a place in the 2024 CHAN tournament, which will be held in East Africa.
